Welcome to Lerayjess Designs.  Here you will find a gallery of fine art paintings created by Jessica DeHaemer, who signs her work as JSLDeHaemer.  A painter for many years, she works primarily in watercolor, acrylic, and oil pastel.  Some of her artworks are abstracts inspired by the natural world, and her main subjects for these are floral and nautical.  Some have been described as having a translucent, stained-glass feel to them. 

Featured in this gallery are examples of what DeHaemer calls "abstract emotionalism" - the portraying of complex emotions through abstracted faces.  She is focusing her work in this direction, and is busy in her studio painting many more.  Check back often to see new works!

The Hamsa piece, "Power of Love", will be featured in the 2009-10 Annual Fundraising Campaign of the United Jewish Communities (UJC)!  It will appear on postcards and other materials.  This is a wonderful worldwide group and it is an honor to be included.
